Blue Coat is standardising on a single, worldwide warranty policy, effective on all new Blue Coat hardware products ordered on or after June 1, 2009. Simplifying the warranty policy provides our partners with consistent warranty terms across all products and geographies as follows:

• All Blue Coat hardware products will have a one-year return-to-factory (RTF) with a 20 business day return for repair or replacement from date of receipt of the unit.
• The new warranty will replace the existing 90 day product warranty, bundled with the shipment of any
  Blue Coat product.
• Customers will be eligible to receive technical and software support (downloads, bug-fixes, and software updates) only with a valid support contract for the covered Blue Coat hardware or software products.
• Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) hardware support if the unit has a functional failure within 3 days after installation and is determined to be DOA, 2-3 day advanced replacement.
